Dr. McMillan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. She continued her studies at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee where she received her Medical degree. Dr. McMillan completed an Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. McMillan is Board eligible, having passed the written exam and soon will sit for the oral exam. Dr. McMillan joined Womancare of Williamsburg in the fall of 2003.
